The Craig and Butters Show is an American animated sitcom television series and a spin-off series of the series South Park created by PuffRuff School and Tj's World creator TjsWorld2011. The show chronicles the partnership of South Park Elementary students Craig Tucker and Butters Stotch. The show ran for three seasons on Comedy Central and syndicated on MTV from October 20, 1999 to September 14, 2001. It is TjsWorld2011's third television series. Unlike the first series, which was targeted towards adults, the show is targeted towards ages 11-14. The show is rated TV-PG in the United States.

Reruns of the show currently air on Tj's World Network as of 2003.

As TjsWorld2011 and Ntpockets were hosting their TjsWorld2011 Entertainment exhibition at the 1997 Licensing International Expo in June 1997, which showcased upcoming PuffRuff School merchandising and marketing plans, other exhibits included that of Chevrolet, Hasbro and newcomer Comedy Central, whose presentation they eventually decided to watch after their presentation. "I'd never heard of that channel and I thought it would be a kind of HBO-esque channel where they showed stuff like Three Stooges," Tj later said, "but it later turned out to be something completely different beyond reason."

"We saw that they were presenting some standup VHSs and DVD boxsets, which, in hindsight doesn't sound appropriate for something such as the Licensing Expo," Nt said, "but the one that caught our attention was when they put out these colored plush figures that reminded us of the main characters of PuffRuff School. We both decided we wanted in immediately on what it was since it looked promising."

Later after the presentation they went backstage to ask the manager about it. They were handed a brochure and eventually found out the figures were adapted from an upcoming animated series known as South Park. "We both didn't know what it was at the time, and there was no information on the brochure other than plain white text in the middle of a schedule written out in bold letters as "SOUTH PARK". That was it. We were confused about it, so after we left the Licensing Expo we drove back to my house, looked up Comedy Central's office number in the Yellow Pages book, called them and set up a meeting for the next day," Tj said, "we had no idea what we were in for, and it would eventually change the course of both our careers."

A theatrical film based on the series, The Craig and Butters Movie was released in theatres on April 11, 2001. MTV's film division MTV Films did not produce the film as Comedy Partners owns the South Park characters featured in both series, and also because the show only aired on MTV for syndication.
